Moderne Barn, with its traditional American roots, global influences and touch of comfort, offers unique menu options created by Chef Ethan Kostbar .
Kostbar’s appreciation of food began as a young boy (he grew up in Israel and traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and Europe during his childhood) and is apparent in the dishes he creates. His menu also showcases his creative journey as a chef, with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and a love of global flavors. As often as possible, Chef Ethan sources local ingredients, including meat and fish; fresh, local produce is a must!
Moderne Barn menus offer casual, yet sophisticated dishes and Chef Ethan’s recipes are a taste for all palates.
Fueled with an appreciation for hand-picked ingredients and diverse cultures, his philosophy is such: “simple, seasonal food is delicious food.”
