After developing an extensive knowledge of these wines as Moderne Barn’s captain, Edgar Balagot became Wine Director in 2015; he has continued to curate a terroir-driven collection that has breadth and excitement. Dubbed a “star attraction” by The World of Fine Wine and receiving Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since 2012, Moderne Barn’s wine list includes up-and-coming growing areas alongside benchmark producers of classic regions, with an emphasis on sustainability.
